Hey! For today's post I am listing up my top 10 favorite cameras for travel photography. I have used tons of different cameras from disposable ones to the overpriced DSLRs and thought about listing up a few.

1. NIKON D5600
When I first used this camera, I've got to say that it feels nice. The Nikon D5600 is targeted towards beginners and I think that it is absolutely one of the best out there. It is lightweight and not really huge.
Pros:
- Long Battery Life
- Capable of shooting 1080p at up to 60 FPS
- Small size and lightweight
- Various lenses to choose from (third party lenses)
- Includes advanced features such as Time exposures and advanced Auto ISO customizability
Cons:
- Live view autofocus is not as fast as Canon cameras with Dual Pixel AF
- Lacks built-in autofocus motor
- Lacks some useful controls like a second command dial

2. SONY ALPHA A7 III
Sony Alpha A7 III is a really great mirrorless camera for professionals. I have always been a little biased for Sony cameras as they are really good and the picture quality always impresses me. But trust me, this camera is what you definitely would want to but for your next trip.
Pros:
- 4K HDR video
- Tilting touch LCD
- 5 - axis stabilization
- 10 FPS with tracking
- 24MP full-frame BSI sensor
- Improved battery
Cons:
- Shooting buffer must clear to start video
- Omits PC sync socket
- No in-body flash

3. CANON REBEL T7i
This camera is Canon's entry tier camera. It is a great DSLR even though it lacks some of the higher end qualities. The best part is that it is compatible with all of the Canon lenses.
Pros:
- Good Autofocus
- Can shoot 1080p video up to 60 FPS with Canon’s Dual Pixel AF
- Compact and easily portable
- Tilt-swivel screen
- Great Automatic mode
Cons:
- No way to edit the RAW files within the camera
- Not a whole lot of dynamic range

4. DJI Mavic Pro
This drone is my all time travel buddy and my absolute best purchase ever. At first, I was a little skeptical about purchasing this high priced drone but I love it! It is an absolute marvel. It includes a gaming-style controller with which you can connect your smartphone/tablet or it can also be flown using the app.
Pros:
- Fast Set Up
- Intelligent flight mode
- Compact and foldable
- High quality videos and pictures
- OcuSync Transmission System for long range
Cons:
- It is a complex drone with a lot of features.
- Small legs make take-off and landing a little tricky.
- Is not good for very windy conditions
- Short time flight

5. DJI Mavic Pro 2
This drone is an upgrade from the DJI Mavic pro. It has an improved camera after partnering with Hassleblad and also has a high-performance image sensor which has an active sensing area four times more effective than Mavic Pro.
Pros:
- 1-Inch CMOS Sensor
- 4K 10-Bit HDR Support
- Hyperlapse
- Adjustable Aperture
- Faster Speed
- Fast Downloading And Low-Latency
Cons:
- Hyperlapse Video Is 1080p And Not Stabilized
- Higher Price

6. SONY a6500
It is small, portable and has the benefits of a mirrorless camera. It has less battery life than most of the DSLRs and is compatible with a wide range of lenses.
Pros:
- Fast autofocus
- 4K video with great 5-axis in-body stabilization
- Weather resistant body
- Great image quality up to 25,600 ISO
- External mic port
Cons:
- Less battery life
- Touchscreen isn't good

7. Fuji X-T20
The Fuji X-T20 is the smaller little brother to the X-T2. It is highly portable and if you’re concerned with the aesthetic of your camera, it has a trendy vintage SLR design.
Pros:
- 8 frames per second burst shooting
- Able to capture 4K video
- External mic port
- Films stellar video
- Continuous focus, depending on the lens.
Cons:
- Lacks the little pro features
- Card is in the slot of the battery slot
- high shutter speed for a little camera
8. SONY RX100 VI
It doesn’t have an interchangeable lens, but with a 24-200mm equivalent lens, travel bloggers will have plenty of focal length flexibility. It has stabilized 4K video – or 1080p up to 120 FPS for slow-motion footage.
Pros:
- Good autofocus
- 24-200mm equivalent focal length gives a lot of flexibility
- Built-in flash
- USB charging
- Good video with stabilization
Cons:
- Less battery life
- Reduced low light performance

9. Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark II
This camera is ideal for all the travel vloggers out there. It takes very good videos and pictures.
Pros:
- Good telephoto lens performance
- Improved high ISO performance in JPEGs
- Face Detect AF does a good job
- In-camera RAW processing
Cons:
- Soft corners at wide angle, due to strong distortion correction needed
- Localized flare issue at wide apertures and close distances
- Video features are lacking, including no 4K

10. Panasonic GH5
Panasonic built the foundation for mirrorless camera video capabilities and continues to push what a mirrorless camera can offer to video shooters.
Pros:
- Very effective 5-axis in-body image stabilization
- Weather-sealed body
- Up to 180 FPS in 1080p shooting mode
- Full sensor (cropless) 4K capture
Cons:
- Cannot record two different video formats simultaneously to each SD card
- Expensive
- No built-in flash
